I love Mcallister Park. I have probably put in over 3000 miles in that place over the last few years, and it never gets old. The best time to be there is on a cold morning in the winter (alright “cold” in San Antonio is a relative term) as the sun is rising. Just enough light through the trees to highlight your breath, which just seems to float in the still air. The best part is watching the deer scurry sideways with a startled look, not expecting to see you that early. The photo above is from last Saturday afternoon with Audrey, my five-year old.
I’ll be seeing you mac. Sooner rather than later.
